DESTINY Calm - Chaos Life - Extinction Our solar system is in a constant state of flux. One day, in the far distant future, the Sun we know will grow into a Super Red Giant and engulf our home planet Earth. This animation tries to capture the pulsing energy of Matter in Space, but also shows that for one tiny fraction of Cosmic Time the Earth appeared to be motionless. During this second of apparent static existence, the miracle of the Evolution of Life took place. This is our "Moment in Time".
